Loading bay docks for frozen goods

Loading dock pavilion for “fresh” and “deep frozen” goods with integrated ramp

Alternative solutions are provided by loading bay pavilion with integrated ramp.

1. Loading bay pavilion for “fresh” goods with integrated dock leveller of dimensions 2200 x 2500 mm + telescopic lip 1000 mm with flaps, side walls, front door with insulated 40mm panels with heat losses from 1141 to 2852 W at temperature difference from 20 to 50 °K,

2. Loading bay pavilion for “deep-frozen” goods with integrated dock leveller of dimensions 2200 x 2500 mm + telescopic lip 1000 mm with side walls, cover, front door with insulated 80mm panels with heat losses from 341 to 853 W at temperature difference from 20 to 50 °K,

3. Loading bay pavilion for “dry” goods with integrated dock leveller of dimensions 2200 x 2500 mm + swivelling lip 360mm with side walls, cover, front door with insulated 40mm panels with heat losses from 2622 to 6554 W at temperature difference from 20 to 50 °K.

All loading bay pavilions have space available for vehicle ramp. We also have pavilions with dock leveller 3000 mm long, which only disadvantage is larger dissipation of heat. It has to be realized that the 2500 mm long ramp with telescopic lip 1000 mm long enables work on the total ramp length of 3300mm.

Benefits of loading bay pavilions:

  • it is easier to construct internal pathways because there are no obstacles like docks, steel frames or reinforcements;
  • loading bay pavilions can be installed next to completed buildings at the end of all loading operations;
  • areas of loading bay pavilions are often not included in the total building area because they can be disassembled;
  • loading bays pavilions can be used as pre-chamber especially during loading of “deep frozen” goods by addition of an insulated sectional door in the pavilion door opening (with 40mm insulation) which will be closed during loading process and will open automatically during fork lift passage.
