High speed rollup door EVOLUTION

High speed rollup and folding doors are very popular on the market due to their quality and limited maintenance required. As response to market demands EVOLUTION door was created with exceptional characteristics.

Door maximum size is 4000 x 5000 mm (width x height) and main feature is ability for self reparation and absence of safety edge.
In case of collision the door curtain, with patented horizontal reinforcements, comes off the side tracks. The next command to open the door is causing return of the curtain to its original position. Only very serious high impact collisions will require service team reaction.

Rollup EVOLUTION door is fast, light, safe and at the same time very durable. The average opening and closing time is between 1 and 1,2 m/s. Special door blade with new design together with special elastic bars can absorb and neutralize impact to mere force of 40N which is then dissipated by the lower soft edge. Such negligible impact force is significantly lower than the value permitted by European standard EN 12453 thus it does not pose any risks and does not require use of safety bars.

Doors consist of horizontal, large diameter rolling drum which rotates on bearings. Such design allows quiet operation and prevents vibrations. Three phase drive unit IP54, 50Hz, 0.5KW, 400/230V can be installed on both sides of the doors. EVOLUTION doors are equipped with electronic sensor preventing curtain from entering over horizontal frame. Curtain is made of 700g/m² Class 2 Polyester with heat sealed sections and reinforcements of patented wind resistance system. Available in colours: RAL 5002, RAL 1021, RAL 3002, RAL 6026, RAL 9016, RAL 7040, RAL 9005. Transparent windows of dimensions from 750 x 300 mm to 1000 x 300 mm (depending on the doors width) are installed in standard version at the safe height starting from 1400mm from ground level.

EVOLUTION door can be installed in two variants:

• Type 1 – installed entirely outside,
• Type 2 – installed entirely outside with connection to sectional doors.

Easy opening and closing

Patented system includes special reinforcements every 800mm. Resistance to wind causing detachment of curtain from the guiding tracks decrease with the increase of doors size (above 60km/h for average size doors). Brushes ensure insulation from wind at the top and on the sides of the curtain. In case of power failure the curtain can be lifted by crank located at the eye sight level. Due to low curtain weight if can be lifted manually.
It is recommended to install two photocells (one at each side) in the distance not less than 200-300mm from the door blade. All safety equipment can be installed as an option. Safety edge could set prevent damages resulting from collisions but it is not compulsory.

Standard control box IP 65 with emergency stop switch button can be equipped with all additional accessories such as radio line, induction loops, radars, chain hoists, press buttons, card readers, and photocells can be mounted on the wall or on the door side frame.
Horizontal drum requires only 490mm of space.
