“COMPACT” doors satisfy the highest European quality and safety standards. It is unique due to its smooth and silent operation and minimum maintenance requirements. Each COMPACT door is produced according to its individual specification with use of minimum number of reasonably priced standard parts. It can be fitted to any type of building. Patented folding system which is characterised by low energy consumption, together with side tacks guarantee long years of operation.

Efficiency and quality

If it is impossible to install doors inside the compartment we can install doors on the outside of the building and hide the console and drive system in the system protection shield top shelter. Regardless whether these doors are installed inside or outside of the building, system of flexible vertical and horizontal sealing as well as sealing on joints on the door sections will ensure maximal tightness and insulation from adverse atmospheric conditions. Thermal insulation factor for COMPACT type doors, similarly like for sectional doors, is equal to U=1W/m²K.
It is possible to install vision panels and wicket doors. COMPACT doors can be equipped with 220V or 380V electrical motors. The unique system of tracks minimises the load of moving elements. There are no springs or weights which would require adjustment and regular maintenance!

Depending on actual requirements, the COMPACT doors can be equipped with a range of additional elements, such as:

  • Oval or rectangular windows glassed with Acrylic double pane.
  • Aluminium sections glassed with Acrylic double pane.
  • Wicket doors
  • Locks
  • Ventilation grills

Door sections are normally painted from the outside in basic RAL colours:

On the internal side panels are painted in white colour. Guiding elements, consoles and covers are galvanised and can be painted in RAL9006 colour. Hinges connecting particular sections are made of stainless steel.

“COMPACT” type doors uniquely combine the best features of sectional doors and roll-up doors.

 

Compact Basic Door

The main function of industrial doors is protection of the building from unauthorized entry and from weather conditions. At the same time the doors can not obstruct too much everyday work and flow of goods.
COMPACT doors are perfect for this purpose. The exhibit optimal insulation and sealing properties and high functionality and reliability. Because of their high quality COMPACT doors give to the premises really professional look. The basic version of this door is constructed from insulated sandwich panels. They consist of CFC- free (free of Chlorofluorocarbons) binded to aluminium cladding with stucco coating. Use of aluminium U profiles at the top and bottom part of the door ensures additional stability of the structure.

Attention: Exposition of the doors to sun rays should also be considered. As result of rapid heating, the door panels can expand in the direction of heat source. If the door will be exposed to direct sun light for several hours per day then it is recommended to choose light colours.

 

Windows for Compact Doors

COMPACT doors can be equipped with windows to increase the amount of natural light entering the compartment and provide visibility from outside and also from inside. Windows are installed in sandwich panels. Windows consist of double layer of Acrylic pane and black Polyethylene frame. Frames are available in two versions: rectangular and oval. There can be maximum one window per each linear meter of door panel.

The big advantage of these windows is that they can be installed after door installation.

Combi Compact Door

For maximum use of natural light it is possible to install completely transparent panels in our COMPACT doors. Fully transparent panels can be also combined with sandwich panels. Fully transparent panels are made of large transparent surfaces which let large amounts of natural sun light to pass inside the compartment and also ensure good visibility from inside and outside of the building.

Fully transparent panels consist of aluminium shape profiles and horisontal middle bars and selected filling. They are mounted inside the door in white Polyethylene and rubber frame.
Fully transparent panels can be combined with various fillings. Apart from transparent Acrylic panes and Polycarbonate panes in the panels can also be installed safe glass panes, mesh or solid sandwich panels. We can also offer panels in not filled version.

Filling

Full Vision panels are typically equipped with two layer Acrylic panes but there are much more other possibilities. Filling is attached inside the frame by profiles made of white Polyethylene and rubber. Profiles are adapted for fillings of 4mm and 17mm thick. Panels can also be delivered in version without filling. In case of installation of filling by youself please inform about the mass of filling material to be used.

Completely transparent panels of COMPACT doors.

In this version of COMPACT door the entire door surface consists of completely transparent panels. The advantage of transparent panels use is more natural sun light inside the building and perfect two way visibility. Apart from transparent Acrylic panes also safety glass, mesh or combination of glass and mesh can be used. Fully transparent doors make each building look attractive and modern.

Fully transparent panels consist of aluminium shape profiles and horizontal middle bars and selected filling. They are mounted inside the door in white Polyethylene and rubber frame. Fully transparent panels can be combined with insulated sandwich panels. They also can be left unfilled.

Light Transmitting Panels of COMPACT Doors

This new type of panel allows broadening application range of COMPACT doors. Light transmitting panels are combining biggest advantages of sandwich panels and transparent panels: optimal insulation and transmitting of natural sun light. The use of special filling makes the panel completely transparent. Thanks to their properties and attractive appearance they make a perfect supplementation of our product range.

Light transmitting panels are made from aluminium shape profiles without middle bars. They are filled with two-layer Polycarbonate sheets which are light transmitting and impact resistant. Furthermore, they can be combined with insulated sandwich panels and Full Vision panels.

Light transmitting panels are transparent and made of light and impact resistant Polycarbonate. It is also possible to install with sandwich panels and transparent panels.

 

Wicket doors

Wicket doors are intended for pedestrian traffic and are built in the COMPACT door. For a person to enter the building there is no need to open the whole door. Such technical solution allows to maintain the heat inside the building and to protect the personnel inside from wind and rain. Wicket doors are also a good protection in the event of power failure.

Wicket doors can consist of insulated sandwich panels, completely transparent panels or combination of above materials. Door frame is made of anodised aluminium. Location of doors, door swing direction and location of hinges can be changed. Electrical sensor is installed on the door frame as standard safety feature. Thanks to this sensor, folding doors can be open only when wicked doors are closed. Wicket doors are delivered with Euro type lock cylinder and three keys. Emergency lock, enabling door opening from inside is also available as an option.

Side doors for COMPACT doors

If there is a need to separate pedestrian and vehicle traffic by installation of wicket doors then their high threshold can create a problem. The solution could be installation of side personnel doors using the same materials and achieving the same appearance as Compact doors. Side doors are completely assembled and mounted in galvanised steel frame what makes their installation fast and easy.

Standard size of side doors is 1000mm x 2450mm with stationary upper part. The doors are equipped with automatic closing device, set of handles and Euro type locking cylinder. Emergency lock, enabling door opening from inside is also available as an option.

Side doors include galvanised steel frame. Pass for personnel is located next to the Compact doors. Thanks to this it looks identical.

For installation of rail for Compact door and side door frame a column with minimum width of 120mm is required.

 

Protections

In all business activities the safety issues are very important. The same applies to selection of industrial doors. Each new function or feature of Compact door for increasing comfort of operation or reliability is always developed with user safety in mind.

Compact doors comply with European safety requirements which are specified in norm DIN EN 13241-1 regarding industrial doors and bear CE marking. All doors are typically equipped with protection against free fall and also with finger and hand protection. Protection against breaking-in is also available.

 

Protection against free fall

In a very improbable situation of cables breaking the door will not freely fall because of small hooks installed in the lower supports. They will hook to the side rails and prevent unexpected door closing.

 

 

Protection against cable loosening

Zabezpieczenie przed poluzowaniem kabliIf a problem arise with one of lifting cables then safety switch will turn off the motor. If the door during closing down encounters any obstacles the motor will automatically stop. This helps to avoid potentially dangerous situations.

 

 

Protection of fingers and hands

Side tracks are protected to prevent fingers and hands getting trapped. The openings in side parts of guide tracks are covered with polyethylene plugs. Steel Ochrona dłoni i palcówcovers are marked with warning tape at the front.

 

 

Protection against breaking in

Very often unauthorised personnel get access to the premises by lifting industrial doors from the outside. With Compact doors such situation is impossible. Automatic blocking system prevents unauthorised lifting of the doors thanks to special hooks which get blocked in the rails. Obstacle detection system (Optional)

When closing door with “dead man button” requiring constant pressing the button, the operator can monitor the door for potential hazards. Our optional system can take up this task and prevent damages and injuries. If the lower rubber seal of the door comes in contact with a person or any obstacle then the door will stop instantly and will start to lift up again. Compact doors with closure programmer or remote control unit are always equipped with this protection.

Operation

Electrical motor according to requirements

Industrial doors are usually equipped with electric motor. Compact door can be closed or opened with one touch of a button. This type of drive simplifies the operation and ensue stability, thanks to full control over movement of panels.

All COMPACT doors are equipped with electric motor. The selection of model depends on size and mass of then doors. The other important factors include available power supply (220 V or 380 V), speed of door opening, frequency of door opening and working conditions.

 

Side motor

Compact doors are typically equipped with side motor. In case Silnik bocznythere is no enough space available at the sides of the door, then top and front motor can be installed.

 

Top side motor

Top motor is installed if there is no space (320 mm) available on the sides of structure frame. The unit requires additional 230 mm of space above the Silnik górnydoor.

 

Front motor

Front motor is installed if there is no space (320 mm) available on the sides of the structure frame and at the top (230 mm). However its use is limited by following factors:

High speed motor

The use of high speed motor reduces the time required for opening of the door. It also helps to reduce energy losses to the minimum and provides better protection against harsh weather conditions to the personnel.

During unloading and loading of trucks with forklifts the high speed opening doors prove to be effective because of their efficiency and also because they reduce the number of collisions and damages resulting from them.

Operation

COMPACT doors can be operated remotely, automatically or by push buttons. The control panel can be selected according to specific need of the user.

Nowdays more and more companies recognise benefits from energy savings. The selection of industrial door is a significant. Doors short opening time and conscious use became more important. Energy saving is also positively affected by the use of insulated panels, double pane glassing and high quality sealing.

Industrial doors COMPACT ensure optimal protection from weather conditions. In the upper and lower parts of folding doors and also between the panels and guide tracks we placed highest quality rubber seals. This provides much better insulation for the building.
